Mission and Vision

Mission

The purpose of IOR is to provide “for the stewardship and administration of movable and immovable property transferred to it or entrusted to it by natural or legal persons and destined for religious or charitable works” (Statutes, art. 2).

In fulfilling its mission, the Institute conforms to the principles of Catholic ethics and always acts in an exemplary manner and with the utmost responsibility, in the awareness that it operates “in the name of the Church” and “in a view to the public good” (Code of Canon Law, canon 116).

Vision

To become a point of reference for all ecclesiastical organisations that wish to have the certainty of making investment choices consistent with the Catholic faith, in complete transparency and without conflicts of interest.
